Craftsman 1938 4 blade cattle knife

Craftsman 1938 4 blade cattle knife
Need help with this one guys...Craftsman knife no pattern number....master blade ecthed Craftsman Hammer Forged and master blade stamped Forged U.S.A. that is all...bone handles...no tang stamps on any other of the blades....is it original???? supposed to be from late 30's....can't find any info on knife....Fleas

This is 3 5/8", correct ?
I have a few Craftsman-Sta-Sharp 3 5/8"(actual length is 3 11/16") 4 blade jigged bone Cattle knives. All have a Punch blade beside the Master Clip blade. I have a page from a 1935 Sears cat. that shows a 3 blade 3 5/8" Cattle with a Long Spey next to the master Clip blade, so this arrangement likely is correct for your knife.
With the pre WW II bone handled Sears knives:
They used a variety of etches and not all had the 4 or 5 digit Sears pattern number.
They used a variety of shields and some had no shields.
I think your knife is good and a great example.
If it is not one for your collection, i would be happy to add it to my Sears collection.

"Craftsman Heavy Duty, Extra Heavy, Extra Strong"
"3 5/8" K 9526"
the sketch shows the exact same blades & arrangement as yours;master clip has etch "Craftsman/Chrome Vanadium" no numbers shown on the etch; threaded bolsters; and a small oval shield.
It is the Most Expensive Sears pocket knife offered, price: $0.98
Your knife is correct.

I just discovered something:
i have measured my Sears Cattle & Scout knives as 3 3/4". The Sears catalog pages i have from 1930's lists these as 3 5/8".
So i just measured my knives again and they actually are 3 11/16", right in between 3 5/8" and 3 3/4".
To revise my question above:
length of OP knife is 3 11/16", correct ?
