I need some help with this one. This is without fail a Case Mini Razor ROG611098 D before you jump to conclusion I have already spoken with Jim Sargent, Jay Parker, Marcy Tully, and many more. I know that it is the first model knife put in production by James Parker when he bought Case in 1989. It was also the first knife to ever come out of the Case factory with a damascus steel blade.It was built as part of the Case centennial collection, granted there are limited number of them but I have spent endless hours looking for another one. I found two both part of a centennial collection. If you know anything about this knife please contact me. It is a Case XX U S A with lighting s in Case and U S A
It's never been toted used sharpened and is still in the original box with paper work. This is a very rare knife so any help you can give me I will be forever grateful. Melton714

So when all those experts were on the phone with you and you asked them additional questions, what was they answer they provided please? No one jumps to conclusions here!

Nice knife but very rare is "rarely used" when describing a CASE knife from 1989'. Usually meant for select models/years and very few. Not being cocky and I like the knife (and congrats on owning it) but that term is usually used for pre-1970' CASE knives and only a selected few at that. Scarce, fairly scarce or very scarce may be more applicable here especially if not a prototype and more than 20 were actually produced for THAT particular year in question. How many did all those experts you quoted say were made? I do acknowledge that that year was the first year ANY Damascus Blade case knives were issued but in what numbers is the question?

There is a 1989 mint damascus set on ebay right now. I would just whoop out $2201.00 and get that puppy!

I got an invitation from Gina Smith Jim Sargent daughter to come spend the day at their shop and I hope to correct some of the of my short comings plus I 've bought three of his books and stay in them several hours a day. There were 750 mint sets with this particular knife made. So if you have a serial number on the knife you have 1 of 750.This knife was also produced and sold individually but haven't seen any production numbers for those knives.

There is one of these knives on eBay it just listed at $95 starting bid or $160 buy it now.

melton 714 last week I had spent four months at least 4 hours a day looking for another one of theses. I got text alert from e bay and now there are more of them than you can count. there even trying to buy mine.I think it is this site that is solely responsible for the run on these knives, because this is the only place I placed a picture. I sent pictures to individuals but this is the the only website . Thanks AAPKnives

Jerry when I said rare I understand what you mean now. But the Historian at Case told me it was a one arm bandit, they don't know anything about it. I don't mean that as put down I'm crazy about Marcy Tully and there staff but they just didn't have any information on it. Jim Sargent told me that he had held two or three of them in is career and was very excited about seeing it. But now that's my project now to find out just how many and who's got them where are all of them. Thanks for your help. Since this thread started I have seen aparade of these knives sell on ebay
The last one went for $86. Maybe not that rare?
