Re: Case Knife TB62028
The one I have is as you describe, Pocket Worn, the handles are called OLD RED on the box. It's a great Sunday go to meetin' knife!

Re: Case Knife TB62028
Not any more. It seems as though Case has realized the popularity of the design and they have fixed the weak snap found in the early ones and are releasing them in a ton of new handle types, jiggings and materials. I looked for links to post here, but they are either on the Case Collector's Club Forum which you have to be a member to see, or on Case's website which is easy enough to find with a simple search. I'm sure that if you go to Smokey Mountain Knife Works or Shepherd Hills websites you'll find plenty there as well (maybe more).rea1eye wrote:Are all Case Tony Bose Teardrop TB62028 Pocket Worn variety ?

After I made that last post I checked ebay and found several with different handles other than the red pocket worn. Check it out.

Re: Case Knife TB62028
Thanks for the replies. What I specifically wanted to find out is if all red TB62028 are Pocket
Worn. One was available on ebay without a box but great condition. I won the auction and should
get it in a few days. I will post the pics when it arrives.
Meanwhile, this is the response from Case
Thank you for your inquiry. Currently in production the
TB62028, two bladed Teardrop is available in a Dark Red Bone with a Rogers Corn
Cob Jigged handle (53219) and also in the Pocket Worn Corn Cob Jigged Old Red
Bone handle (10302).
The pics posted from the buyer looks like the Pocket Worn Jigged. We will see!

Re: Case Knife TB62028
Got the knife today. I think it is Pocket Worn.
Both blades open and close soft ( probably lowest amount of snap compared
to my other Case knives). How do I make them open and close with better snap?

Re: Case Knife TB62028
Return it to Case. They've fixed that problem in the newer ones as it was the only complaint with that model. Call (800) 523-6350 and ask for the repair department. Let them know you're not happy with it and the reason why. It should be an easy fix for them, so you shouldn't be without your knife for very long.
