$12,000 Case Barlow on eBay

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

The auction has just over 2hrs to go and the bidding is up to $12,100. ::shrug::

Alright I realize that the razor style main blade is probably not very common but what makes this knife work $12K?

Don't know, but with sharpened downed blades It would not get a bid from me for more than half a cart of groceries. :|

Ok now I get it! No one who put in a bid of more than $26.01 had more 20 feedbacks. A bunch of kids or trolls who are willing to sacrifice their account for a bit of malicious fun and waste the sellers time. :x
