DONT USUALLY CARE FOR STAINLESS,, BUT...

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Nice red-bone on that one Blister! I take it that must be a 1960's knife - how early did Case begin using stainless? I have been well served by stainless knives over the years - from ducks to deer I've cleaned a bunch of game in the last 40+ years and used stainless steel blades 90% of the time. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Thanks so much O.H. . . I'll defer answering yer
stainless date qst to knifeaholic or Elvis...
Guess my dislike for it comes from the difficulty
presentd to "clean" or restore the blades..
I'll not disagree that its best for field work.

BTW.. thats RED STAG . .. not red bone..
Largely RARE..
