Can anyone ID this Case knife for me?

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Can anyone ID this Case knife for me?

Post by jcam222 »

I am looking to ID and purchase this knife as a Christmas gift for an avid elk hunter and very good friend. I have only found one on ebay and its scratched pretty badly. Any help would be very appreciated.

CA5490 is the item number of that knife. The model is a 6254. Trapper pattern. It is from the Case Outdoor Series. This place has one for sale. Seems a little pricey to me but it will be new. Good luck.
