Can you tell me what this is worth???

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Can you tell me what this is worth???

Post by johnnierotten »

Our son in laws birthday was yesterday and I would like to give him a knife, but not a real expensive one. I am afraid he will lose it or something. I know it is a Case XX 6249. I tried looking it up myself but do not know if it is red bone or what. Thank you :D

ETA: Ok so I am looking on a price guide for this pattern and see that it has different years, how do I tell the year? I don't see dots or stars????
