Hi guys. I am a pattern collector, five inch and larger texas toothpicks to be exact. One thing about collecting patterns, I get to learn about and own examples of many, many different brands. It is finally time to add a case classic to my collection. Seeing how the prices go on these things, perhaps I should have began long ago with one of these.
Need to know: Was my handle style of choice even made: Any of these: MOP, Abalone celluloid, imitaton pearl or white cracked ice, candy striped cell?
How does the celluloid hold up on these things? (I have had my heart broken by a Frank Buster Rooster cell). Were these the best knives Jim Parker ever had produced? Who actually made them? Any ebay seller in particular to look for or look OUT for?
Thanks for any assistance and guidance,
Phil
edited to add: Here is why I ask about the celluloid. Beautiful knife here, but handles curling up, the seller says:

New to these things, please help
