CASE 06267LP. Anyone have some CASE 67s to share???
Hello All,
Don't see too many of these posted that I could find. CASE 06267LP, leaning towards red bone. What a awesome pattern in my opinion. Pulled this one out today and hit it with some Blue Magic, not that it needed it. Marveled at it for an hour straight.
Anyone have any 67s to share???
Regards, Jerry

Wow Jerry that is a beautiful knife! Sorry I don't have one to share though. Love that clip blade with the long pull...Is that a whittler frame? What is the closed length?

Re: CASE 06267LP. Anyone have some CASE 67s to share???
Hey Mike, Thanks much! Love this knife. I think this may be the only 67 I have.
I see that CASE made a 3 bladed 67 pattern called a "Balloon Whittler" in my reference book. So I think this might considered a half whittler as it is the same pattern but 2 bladed. Just like with the CASE 6308 versus the 6208.
May be others will chime in.

They actually classified that one as a pen knife. It's 1/2 inch shorter than the 83 model whittler although they did make a whittler version of it early on and gave it the model number of 06367. The one I have isn't a whittler, so it's a 8367.
Re: CASE 06267LP. Anyone have some CASE 67s to share???
Real awesome knife Bob. Beautiful pearl. Thanks for sharing the knife. I am sure you have more tucked away...
Looks like the did not make the TESTED 067 in pearl also. Just Green Bone and Waterfall. And no 3 bladed 67 patterns in XX era. Looks like the never made one in stag in 2 or 3 blade in any era. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
What a cool frame in my opinion. I like the fact that not made forever although a CASE XX USA in fat stag does sound like a pretty knife for that frame, if they had not discontinued them.

I believe you're right on your 67 info. Knifeaholic and I have recently shared info on these and only certain types seem to have been made in certain Case Eras. Sweet little pattern, isn't it? Much more practical than the Tuxedo pattern they have now.

Here's a tested era example. I've always liked the pattern because its rare.

Very beautiful Knife!!! NICE.
BR, I like the rare patterns too. Love this frame as she is nice in looks, size and shape. Rarity is probably the most significant factor in my collecting at this point.

The Blade Runner " Mr. Gary Moore" Has a earlier article in the Knife World about EXTINCT CASE KNIVES.
The 67 pattern was featured in this article. Jan 2011. Good read.
Here Is the only one I have, it is not great, but it is what it is, Green bone Tested.
Thanks Stockman

Very nice knives Brett! Thanks for sharing. That one in the bottom pic I like the bone color. Looks similar to mine, reddish orange. Some fine examples you have there.

Resurrecting an old thread on one of my favorite patterns. I finally found all of mine and got them together for a family photo.
The rough black was MIA for a long while. It was hiding out in a Sackup roll with some 08 patterns. Obviously a case of mistaken identity.

Ken, very nice group of 06267's.
The shape of the long pull clip blade on this pattern is really pleasing to my eye.
