RARE 62050 (SCALES FROM THE DAY'S OF OLD) FROM ROGER-50/2050

Howdy Boys,

Here is another rare+ 62050 out of my personal collection I would like to share with ya'll that was handled with the old style, Antique Red Rogers bone scales that W.R. Case & Sons used to use in the day's of old! ....I had a pretty tough time finding her in "pristine mint condition" as she is only a "1 of 27" run piece, that's right friends, "1 of 27" for the total run & with this special edition main blade etch makes her a truely rare find of a "1 of 9" ever run!!! ....Just imagine down the road, ten to fifteen or even twenty years from now how sot after & collectible this here piece will be then??? ....The description, photos & values for this low run beauty are below knifer friends.



1.) 1996 - 62050 with Antique Red Rogers bone handles - Case (raised) Oval shield - "1 of 27" total run - "1 of 9" Special Edition main blade etch with the DBL Charging Bull Elephants!

Today's market value in 2007 ----> $380 to $425

Hello Perry,

The only distinction between the two (Antique Red verses Antique Green) would be the color of pigment used in the dye, the color of pigment used to get the bone scales on this knife was picked by Jim Parker to match as close as possible, the Red bone handles Case used on most of the Antique Case knives - pre 1920's which when released new had more of an Orange tint to it, that is why this handle color is called "Antique Red Rogers bone" which in fact is different than "Red Rogers bone" which is a brighter Red & in some cases, like a Cherry Red! Same/same for the "Antique Green Rogers bone" scales verses the "Bright Green Rogers bone" scales used on the knives made in the Case Classic program! I'M glad you asked this question Perry because a lot of collectors do not know the difference & this is another important reason why the knives made in the Case Classic program are so special!
