RARE - 1995 - 62050 - (PROTOTYPE) FROM ROGER-50/2050

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

RARE - 1995 - 62050 - (PROTOTYPE) FROM ROGER-50/2050

Post by Roger - 50/2050 »

Hello knifer friends,

Here is a truly rare piece for two reasons guys! ....1.) This Case Classic Elephant Toe pattern survived the factory fire back in 1995 ....2.) She is categorized as a "Prototype" with a 72050 main blade but the knife is clearly a 62050 ....Knife comes in mint condition with a Case Classic clouds box & a Parker letter! ....The description below tells it all with photos & today's predicted value,

1.) 1995 - 62050 with Tan Rogers bone handles - Case (raised) Bomb shield - Back side of main blade engraved ----> "Prototype"

Market value today in 2007 ----> $350 to $400 (& going up!) ::nod::

Special note; Another truly rare piece not mentioned in the Case Classic book!
