Thanks for the info Folks,
I told the Boss Saturday morning what I was planning to do with the Ruger handgun and believe it or not, the first thing she said was;
"What do you what to do that for? You've had that a long time!".
I explained to her about the weight (2 pounds 8 ounces loaded) and after about 4 or 5 hours of punching holes in paper, it tends to wear down your arm. Plus I need one for business a little smaller, but same caliber. Too that she replied "Just buy ya another!"
And that is why she is "The Boss"!
Anyway, I came home with a new Ruger 10-22 yesterday. Has anybody tried those new 50 round drum mags they make now for them?
There is usually two shows a month in Knoxville, so I am going to check a couple of local shops out. If I do not find what I am looking for there, I will be back at the shows in March.
To all; One gent I talked with said that four hundred is good "Ballpark" figure for that style.
Ruger started putting a "Warning" stamp on their barrels sometime in the mid 80's and those without will bring a little more also.
