ULTRA RARE 1994 - 52050 FROM ROGER-50/2050

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

ULTRA RARE 1994 - 52050 FROM ROGER-50/2050

Post by Roger - 50/2050 »

Hello knifer friends,

This Ultra rare Case Classic 52050 Stag Elephant Toe pattern I'M sharing with my good knifer friends here tonight is the same piece I'M currently using for my avatar photo, the story behind this piece is it may in fact be an un-marked Prototype of a possible "1 of 1" because of a lack of a picture or description in the Case Classics book & the lack of any engraving! ....Friends, the only knife that comes close to this one in the Case Classic book is pictured on page #94, item letter F. that shows a Stag piece that is a "1 of 12" run only but with a Case (raised) Arrow shield & this one comes with a Case (raised) Bowtie shield! ....The fat, toasted Golden colored Stag on this piece is very well matched in thickness, grain & color, you may never see another like her friends! ....The description for her is below with photos & predicted value in today's market!

1.) 1994 - 52050 - Case (raised) Bowtie shield - Special Edition "1 of 12" main blade etch (Single Charging Bull Elephant - XX) - un-marked Prototype/"1 of 1" ??? ::shrug::

Note; Another Ultra rare piece that is not in the Case Classic book or mentioned in the Case Classic program! ::shrug::

Market value today in 2007 ----> $850 to $900
