Jim, any pics of the ones without endcaps?
Glenn,
I picked this one up a few months ago. I believe it was a SFO though.

Re: GEC stainless scout (#73) question
Crap....I thought that one was a Northfield and forgot it said GEC...Trad ,yep 1 of 100and the other two were 1 of 50 and the steel is 420 on all three...stag,horsecut ruby and horsecut walnut. Greg on his TSA Blog talked about these back in 2008(PRETTY SURE)or 2009.
Also from a previous discussion about these three knives..remember there is no mention of Cyclops Steel Works on the tang..another identifying mark.

Re: GEC stainless scout (#73) question
This is what you're looking for, Monk. Trand provided it to me via email when I inquired about his knife.

Re: GEC stainless scout (#73) question
Wish GEC would crank some out. I've decided I need/want/gotta have one with end caps and I'd prefer stainless (440C if you please) for EDC.WelderBob wrote:Big...I don't think they ever made one in that configuration, I did have one made up by MM ...had the spey blade deleted. Bob
