GEC stainless scout (#73) question

Has GEC ever made a stainless, single blade, drop point #73 with end caps?

Two were made without end caps,but I can't think of any that were made with end caps...........

Jim, any pics of the ones without endcaps?

I picked this one up a few months ago. I believe it was a SFO though.

Crap....I thought that one was a Northfield and forgot it said GEC...Trad ,yep 1 of 100and the other two were 1 of 50 and the steel is 420 on all three...stag,horsecut ruby and horsecut walnut. Greg on his TSA Blog talked about these back in 2008(PRETTY SURE)or 2009.

Also from a previous discussion about these three knives..remember there is no mention of Cyclops Steel Works on the tang..another identifying mark.

Big...I don't think they ever made one in that configuration, I did have one made up by MM ...had the spey blade deleted.

Boggs...Very nice knives... ::tu:: ...do you know who they were made for?

Bob___there was a guy selling them on e-bay___I think Boggs,gave me that name and info,last year,but I have lost it ::dang:: ::dang:: I did look it up,after buying the knife ::shrug::

Thank's Monk, I believe those knives were made with 420HC insted of 440C...I wonder if it was the Parker knife bunch... ::shrug::

Yep,they were the 420HC, but had nothing to do with the ""PARKER BOYS""_____this guy had GEC,make him 50 with end cap and 50 without, of each handle material___he was also a Case dealer,along with other brands__sold all his knives,on e-bay__and still does,I think???__I just can't find my info?? ::dang:: ::dang::________hey Boggs_____HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!! ::woot::

Wish GEC would crank some out. I've decided I need/want/gotta have one with end caps and I'd prefer stainless (440C if you please) for EDC.
