I picked up a custom knife this weekend and the blade is marked 'GW' just forward of the ricasso. I really know little about custom knives and I am not completely sure why I bought this one except that it came with a nice Randall.
If you recognize this maker by the mark, please let me know. I will post a couple of poor quality photos but I believe they will get the information across.
Thanks,
Ray

There is a George Werth from Illinois who is known for his damascus and he does use his initials as his mark. Better known for high end work, it might be one of his early knives and maybe not. How would you rate the quality of the knife ?
