WOW, that is a beauty.
The pins, shield, maple and bolsters look as if they are a painting and one continuous piece. ::tu::
Almost as if the shield and pins were floating in a maple lake.

fantastic! I never get tired of wood scales, they are one of the few things these days were "unique" is not just a buzz word :)

Excellent!
The wood is beautiful and the lines are clean. Outstanding knife.

I recently did a knife and stabilized fiddle back maple that really came out nice.
Because maple is so soft, I won't use it unless it is stabilized, but once it is stabilized it's absolutely gorgeous.

I think maple is one of the more underappreciated woods.
