finished this at work while sitting in a street sweeper today it's not steel but a nice knife I had this horn left over and lots of time on my hands so pounded not on steel but rock this is what i came up with

My ancestors would have liked that!

Street sweeper................ Humm....... Any chance you could get a dozen or two of the steel bristles out of one of the brushes on that sweeper?
I need some to make springs for several old switchblades.

Please let me know if you can get them.

sure!!!! there gonna change the brushes next week I'll see what i can do would 20-50 do there about 4" long but that would 8" if you unbind them
