My first pearl work

Post by agteacher2 »

Here is my first attempt at Mother of Pearl handle installation. I took a page out of the German makers book and installed them without pins showing. I think it gives it a really nice clean look. Hope you enjoy it.
In case you didn't recognize it its Case XX Stainless steel peanut.

Thanks for the post. Your talent is showing. First pearl, I think I would be holding my breath at some points while working with it. Great Job! ::tu:: ::tu:: Do you have plans for Mastodon Bark Ivory and Mammoth tooth in the future? I have a couple Bulldog Anglo-Saxons that I want to have done in the future? I will have to run that by my wife (da Boss) on that one though. Once again, GREAT JOB, thanks for sharing. I know where to go when I get the blessing for my projects. :)

Folks this is a very fine knife. I had the pleasure of purchasing this knife and it is even better in hand. Jeff did a great job and it is a pleasure to own it. :D I sent a Bulldog Anglo-Saxon down to Jeff with a couple of thick mammoth tooth scales for a knife project, something I always wanted to do. :D I haven't told Jeff yet  but I had some gold lip pearl come in today for a future project and it looks fantastic.
