FSOT GEC 83 Tascosa Bocote
Hi folks long time Bladeforums member here. 17 years there in good standing with 80 positive feedback and probably closer to 100 deals done there over the years. Wanted to try one of these since they came out, discovered I prefer a lockback to be on the larger side. GEC should definitely do this in a slip joint. This particular knife appears to maybe have been pocketed once or twice (faint swirls on bolsters) but otherwise unused. It does have the slight up and down wiggle common to GEC lockbacks but no side to side play. The lock snaps nicely and is easy to release. Fit and finish is beautiful otherwise. Comes with tube and button and wrinkled wax paper.

I’d look at anything vintage in ebony covers, nice tight, full blades etc. I like bare head jacks, barlows but will look at others.
