FSOT GEC 83 Tascosa Bocote

Post by MattR »

Hi folks long time Bladeforums member here. 17 years there in good standing with 80 positive feedback and probably closer to 100 deals done there over the years. Wanted to try one of these since they came out, discovered I prefer a lockback to be on the larger side. GEC should definitely do this in a slip joint. This particular knife appears to maybe have been pocketed once or twice (faint swirls on bolsters) but otherwise unused. It does have the slight up and down wiggle common to GEC lockbacks but no side to side play. The lock snaps nicely and is easy to release. Fit and finish is beautiful otherwise. Comes with tube and button and wrinkled wax paper.

$135 shipped US 50 NO PAYPAL I can accept Zelle or a money order.

US 50 trades only and priority mail required for shipping. I don’t support PayPal.

Trades

First and foremost looking for a fine example of a vintage red or green bone Case 6232 medium Texas Jack

Still much prefer to trade but for sale now too. Please read my terms of sale. I don’t do PayPal. I can direct you to my feedback on Bladeforums if need be.

Also looking for a 2019 Case 22751 Barlow in CV and brown Sawcut bone, and vintage 6318PU red bone stockman.

$125 shipped

I’d look at anything vintage in ebony covers, nice tight, full blades etc. I like bare head jacks, barlows but will look at others.
