Good day to be out. Low 60's , few clouds and no wind. Beautiful January weather!

I missed these until just now, good stuff, David. What is the 2nd loco in the middle picture?

Awesome, I thought maybe so. It is a rare occasion when one of those show up around my area, it happens, but not often. That was a good capture!DM11 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 1:34 amThanks Ike! That would be a Ferromex.

Re: Any Train Enthusiasts Out There?
I was happy to come across this UP coal train rumbling along the snow covered fields under an azure sky. I was doubly happy when the end rolled around and one of the rear locos was an old Southern Pacific, still sporting the old paint scheme with a UP patch. The Southern Pacific ceased to exist after 1996, I was quite surprised to see a unit that had not been repainted. According to Wikipedia, only 10 or less still exist. This one has the "bloody nose" paint scheme.

Awesome Winter shots, Ike.
I picked up a trestle set and incorporated it into the layout. It was pretty tricky trying to get everything to fit correctly.

Thanks, Tom. I tried going vertical, I guess the next option is to add another platform.

My FIL and I both love Hogan's Heroes and we slide it in here and there when we're visiting. Like if we're having a BBQ and my hot dog isn't grilled enough, I might say something in my best General Burkhalter like "Well....I see my food isn't quite grilled the way I like it. Maybe you'd do better thawing out hot dogs...ON THE RUSSIAN FRONT!"1967redrider wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 5:29 pmMissouriGuerrilla wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 3:47 pmAhh!1967redrider wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 12:34 am

Ha!!!I love watching those reruns. Robert is the only cast person still kicking and I think he's in his 90's. Hogan's crew would have blown up the whole layout!
