Christmas came early!

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Christmas came early!

Post by GardenGram »

Hey there guys and gals! Yesterday we were out and about and came acrossed a gift/ variety shop. In there I found 2 1998 NIB case knives.
#1 is a small burnt stag gunstock. Great bark, fit and finish. Snap was a little weak but some oil made it better.
#2 is a small coke bottle in purple appaloosa. Really strong walk and talk.

These are just beautiful. I can't find much about them. Are they desirable, scarce etc. They don't seem to be made anymore. What does the 1/2 pattern mean? And lastly, what is the symbol beneath the USA on both?

Thanks in advance

There is a research area on AAPK. ---► https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/page/research.php
This is for the Case numbering system ---► https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/co ... ng-system/
This is for Case blade abbreviations ---► https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/co ... d-by-case/

A 1/2 is very common. It signifies that the knife has a clip master blade.
