Unusual Tang Stamp
Just curious if anyone has any knowledge about this 1988 model 6254 SSP. Unusual tang stamp with no shield. Thanks.

That Tang Stamp indicates 1982 year of make for that knife not 1988. The Copyright stamp I’m not sure about ?? I have never seen it myself but possibly someone else has ??

Re: Unusual Tang Stamp
The Copyright stamp is a cold stamp, added aftermarket. Why? Only the individual who did it knows the answer to that.

Does it have something to do with Colonel Coon knives by Adrain Harris?
Re: Unusual Tang Stamp
I do not think that is a copyright stamp. But what it is …….?

It looks like a "c" inside of a "C."

The "C" "c" makes sense, thanks for the link.

Thanks for all the responses. It appears, I have a Colonel Coon Case XX Trapper added to the collection. Thanks again for the link and responses.
