Hope it isn't a real bad one. Whatever it may be, it provided a great photo opportunity!

Last month I made a Nesting-Box, then put it up on the side of our home.

I've seen a lot of advertisements lately promoting monthly tactical packs, and manly packs, or survival packs. One word they like to use a lot on some of their products is "MILITARY GRADE".

Spent most of the day clearing brush and trash trees. Cat 299D3 is a brush mulching beast! Belongs to a good friend who is letting me try it out.
Makes work fun.

That is cool Ken! Kinda reminds me of the mine flails used on Sherman tanks in WW II. That is a beast.

Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
Those two cedar trees you can see in the picture I posted - they aren’t there any more. In fact you have to know where to look, and look hard, to even find the stumps. It takes them off flush with the ground. Nothing left but shedded mulch. I took them down while learning how to operate the thing, before I ventured into the wooded creek bottoms where all the brush is/was.
Cudgee, that’s some big wheat fields. Reminds me a lot of those we have in south and west Texas. Some are thousands of acres in one field.

Ooooo Ken, looks like fun!
Mate.
Finally you boys are taking off a good crop, after years and years and years of drought...
Looks like we traded places...
Just wrapped up the main Oats here, 30% less yield the normal. But thank the Lord, that the test weight is super high! That is where you make your money, on the weight, not the bulk; because they pay for the groat, not the shell.
Normally, yield is between 100-130 bushels acres, so it hurts. But, prices are over five bucks a bushel! Normally around this time, it's between $2.75-$3.15, so that's a nice bump, to say the least...
Oh, and running 3 big rigs does get things off fast...
