I like that Butter & Molasses look. I have two or three knives with those covers.
How long is that handsome stockman?

Thanks for posting it in this thread. ::tu::

Was able to buy this Shapleigh B639 Moose Knife at an Antique Store in Arizona over the weekend. I would like to know who manufactured it. Schrade, Empire or another and approximately when it was made, I`m guessing 1920`s. High quality. Bone is perfect, knife still snaps. 4 1/4" long. It weighs 5 oz. Impressive to hold. I really like it. Thanks, Mike

Great pattern, love those handles.

Here is a shapleigh that I carry everyday. It’s the same as an early schrade walden 856.

Thank You so much for the wonderful comments Gentlemen. Glad you enjoyed seeing these Old Knives. Sorry, cant give you info on where I picked these knives from. Apparently folks from the St. Louis area retired and moved out here to Arizona and brought their old knives with them. Now I have them. There are more. I`ll be hunting for them. Thanks Mike. ::tu::

What is going on with the master blade ? The large scooped out area looks too even to be from the piece breaking off. I have not seen a master blade like this before.
