#1 for 2009..............................
Hey all,
I hope everyone has a healthy and happy new year!
I just finished my second knife (it stills needs a touching up). I also gave the first one a face lift, it was sort of dark and dreary. So I gave the crown a Red Stag look and re-dyed the handle.
Hope you enjoy.........................feedback +- is always welcome!
Take care

Gary,
I think you are sandbagging!
No way a new knife maker can turn out stuff like that!
Good lookin' knife amigo!
If you still have it, I hope you bring it down to Eugene in April. I want to see it!

Thanks for the nice comments and the encouragement guys.
Still one little goof with the solder joint. Clean (very) is the only way to start any soldering project.
Dale, I hope to have this one and several others to take to that show, it's one of the Norths best!

Great looking knives! Looks like you have a few years under your belt rather than just a couple knives. Keep up the good work!

I've got to get my butt down to get more propane, then it's back to the anvil!

Well Gary, overall I like the first one better but your fit and finish looks remarkable for only having a couple knives under your belt, I'm impressed

Thanks Kelly and Kaleb!
The second knife with the antler crotch just fit my hand so well I couldn't bear to take any more material off. It (the antler) doesn't blend real well with the handle; but it sure does feel good in the hand! I may make an adjustment later....................
