Evening Everyone, finally got mail in today and found a box from Canada here . Very pleased with this purchase of 3 Various Schrades , and a bonus Ulster , they are all in very great shape. As some of you know ,am primarily a Camillus Collector, but when discussing these further with Seller decided to purchase them. Thank you Roland for a very great batch of knives, these 4 are better than you stated, and Thanks for throwing in the Ulster

This one was in the mailbox last night, could have arrived saturday but I didn't check the mail because we were having a blizzard then! 14" of new snow
Anyway I thought this was a Tiwanese knife but the package was post marked "Netherland" so Im not sure. Regardless of where it's made it is a very well made knife and the fit and finish is on par with Case or Gec. And the $20 price tag is hard to beat.
I liked it so much that I just ordered 2 more as gifts for my sons.

Good looking Lockback Ken. I've heard a lot of good things about Brother Knives and very few negatives. Looks good.ken98k wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 1:50 am This one was in the mailbox last night, could have arrived saturday but I didn't check the mail because we were having a blizzard then! 14" of new snow![]()

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
I got this one in Yesterday. I wanted a knife to carry in my Mower Seat Bag when cutting my daughters yard. She has a bunch of Wisteria Vines in her back yard, some rather large. Hence I wanted to try out this mini saw, and a larger knife blade. So I thought I would give this Victorinox Forester a try. It is approximately 4-3/8" closed, it has a 3-1/2" spear point blade with liner-lock, a 3-5/8" saw blade, of course the usual can opener / small flat tip, a large flat tip / cap opener with liner lock, Cork Screw, awl / punch, toothpick and tweezers. Plus all blades have half stops. Will give it a try later this morning when I start cutting grass.

Smitty, I'll be interested to see what you think of it. Especially the saw blade.

I've cut through 2-2 1/2" branches with the saw on mine. I have the German Army, Swiss Army, Fireman, Outrider, and Dual Pro X; as well as an older Alpineer I converted to a slipjoint by replacing the scales and removing the lock. All of those but the Alpineer have a saw, and they work great.
The belt cutter blade found on models like the Fireman and Dual Pro tend to make short work of a lot of vines.
