Looks like SMKW is having Queen knives built in the same factory that makes Rough Ryders.

Good snag on those "Q"

Ken98 you are swinging that Hammer true my friend. A nail ain't a Chance of being missed by you friend.

Good looker you have there Smitty,Papa Bones wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:10 pm I received this one today. Another addition to my Camillus 72 family. A Short Line Camillus 72, has the black stagged composite handles which was produced with no shield, and is 3-5/8" closed. It has the Sabre Clip, Coping blade and pen clip blade, All blades are full, have no wobble and great snap. The handles have very little shrinkage with no warping. The blades do have scratches, and the bolsters do have light scratches & rubs. But all in all for the age I am very satisfied with it.

Smitty my friend, nice Short line. Getting tougher to find in any condition, and you got a good one . Those Black Composite handles from that period don’t seem to shrink up too bad . Well done ,nice piecePapa Bones wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:10 pm I received this one today. Another addition to my Camillus 72 family. Thanks You Marc.
Appreciate it JP

It refers to Camillus tang stamps. After WWII, they underlined the word Camillus on the tang stamp with a short line. Sometime in the late '50s they changed the tang stamp to a long line that completely underlined the word Camillus. After a change to Camillus in italic font, about 1990 they added a long line above the word Camillus which is called by some the double line stamp. This is a pictorial of what I'm talking about.

Beautiful bones there, and aged beauty like fine wine. Congrats on that score.rexstubbins wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 12:42 am Starting to pick up knives again. This one was in the mail when I got home. E. Wieden Scout made in Germany. Picked it up from our very own AAPK store.
Anyone have any info on E. Wieden. Only thing I could find was a pdf on cutler marks and brand names of German knives from 1850 to 2000. Nothing on dates the actual companies were in business.
Also if anyone is interested here is the link. Pretty hefty file. 130 pages.
