The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

One thing that Case do well is their jigging. Don't want to start an argument, but i would put this up against any GEC. The fit and finish, the walk and talk, the jigged bone are all exceptional. They are half the price and readily available, what is not to like. Have a good weekend, and excuse my rant.

That’s a looker for sure! I have my pets of other brands. But at heart I’m a CASE guy. That’s what all the men packed when I was growing up. There were other brands that were considered good, but CASE was the one to pack. Except for the kids. We were given one of the Old Timers. They were cheaper, lol.
They are steeped in American knife history, as you have commented on, and if you get a really good one, the quality is exceptional. Have a good week mate.

Wow!! You guys have some nice ones! Here is my one and only!
A good one and only to have!! Love Copperlocks!
I love Copperlocks as well. Didnt know what one was until I bought that one and I got to say it is an amazing pattern. Slim in the pocket with plenty of blade! And it locks up. Couldn't be happier. thank you for the nice comment!
When did they introduce this bone color bone if anyone knows?
More into old school CASE knives and their associated limited colors but I have to say, likely the prettiest color of "newer - post 1980' bone color I have seen. JMO
