Thank you Mark, John, and Smitty, and JP. I always appreciate your comments. I was attracted by the simplicity of this knife: very traditional, very clean lines, and very sharp.

A trial purchase, it's okay. I mostly bought it for the blade. Don't look for the start of another collection.

Just got this in the mail today.. IKIV brand: D2 steel, G10 scales, stainless steel liners.. it's hair popping sharp and rock solid when locked open..they call their locking mechanism an axis lock ::shrug:: .. opens smooth and when you engage the release slide it closes effortlessly.. I took a flyer on this one ( never heard of this maker before) and I like it a lot for $28 & change..fit and finish are excellent.

Ryan it might be my poor education, but I've never heard of that brand before. It looks like a very good EDC, where did you order it from? :D
