Thank you Mark, John, and Smitty, and JP. I always appreciate your comments. I was attracted by the simplicity of this knife: very traditional, very clean lines, and very sharp.

A trial purchase, it's okay. I mostly bought it for the blade. Don't look for the start of another collection.

Just got this in the mail today.. IKIV brand: D2 steel, G10 scales, stainless steel liners.. it's hair popping sharp and rock solid when locked open..they call their locking mechanism an axis lock
.. opens smooth and when you engage the release slide it closes effortlessly.. I took a flyer on this one ( never heard of this maker before) and I like it a lot for $28 & change..fit and finish are excellent.

Ryan it might be my poor education, but I've never heard of that brand before. It looks like a very good EDC, where did you order it from?
