If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Walking along the river in Saskatoon yesterday and spotted these two guys trolling by. It was fairly warm yesterday (about 24 degrees F), but still would be cold sitting in an aluminum boat in 32 degree water.
Amen to that. I’ve been in an aluminum canoe on trout stream waters. You can feel the cold in the bottom of the canoe even in summer months. Of course, if it’s 24 degrees air and the water is 32, maybe it feels warmer? ::shrug::

"Z" I recognize most everything you posted but what the heck are "stick battery makitas"? Inquiring minds want to know.

Been spending a little time at the Car shop helping brother with a Clutch job on the Winston. Had to take clutches and pressure plates to our People in the Twin Cities. Jeff ( Brother) got the 33 Packard painted and ready to go back on frame. Now if the Motor would ever get done, been almost 2 years!! It’s getting so expensive to do frame off Restorations that the Packard may be our last one. It’s been great, but over the years we’ve got burnt out and time to let the kids take over. Hope you enjoy the pics

Wow! COOL! ::nod:: ::super_happy::

I helped my uncle rebuild a Chevelle SS as a kid. Kept the fire going in the winter time and was the gofer for tools, food, drinks ect. ect. ect. We spent a couple of years rebuilding it from the frame up. I fell in love with the SS. When it was finished he took me for one short ride. What a sound! ::woot:: What a special car! ::nod:: And then he sold it a day or two later to one of his friends for a small profit. ::facepalm:: I was devastated. ::uc:: Still makes me sad to think about it. ::facepalm::

Great pictures Ripster! Is the red on left of 5th pic an amphicar?
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Ripster,
Those pictures bought back old memories of the first car I drove on the road [without a licence at 14 solo]
It was a 1948 Packard 6. I can also remember seeing an early Packard 16.

Just north of Sydney Australia, is a large water-way - back in the 1960's the Postman had one of those amphicar.
I think I can remember seeing a Chev amphical also, back in the 1960's....Ken
