Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
I was going to post this in the Outdoors thread, but thought it would be less than truthful since I wasn't outdoors when I took the picture.
Anyway, looking out our kitchen window to the church I pastor.

I guess my weather could be very different.
Steve I hadn't realized that you are a Pastor. Funny thing my oldest son is retired Air Force, went to Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and is now a Lutheran Pastor in a small community about 45 miles south of St. Louis.

It's 9:20AM as I type, and still snowing, albeit very light. We'll have around a foot when all is said and done by early this afternoon. Then I get to go shovel. Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
I started pastoring in '98, two years before I retired from the Air Force. Long story short, a small Baptist church about an hour from the base had a split and needed a pastor. As part of the Southern Baptist Convention (ordained as pastor through them), I was asked if I would take it on. Our church left the SBC and the building in 2003 and joined with a non-denominational, Living Hope Christian Church, meeting in the building I showed. I was an associate pastor up until mid-December last year. Our Sr. Pastor moved to GA. He's still giving over-sight (covering) to us. I'll be set in as Sr Pastor next month. He's going to be set in as our Apostle, overseeing Providence Mountain Ministries. He has the apostolic heart of Paul and is called to help other churches. www.providencemountain.comdlr110 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 2:13 pm I guess my weather could be very different.

I would say that you are just a shadow of your former self, but I don't know your former self.

Last rays of the afternoon sun were highlighting Sycamore trees in the distance, I liked the way it looked with the icy, dark blue clouds.
