John,
That old foundry and machine shop with the overhead belt and shaft system are awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Was built in the mid 1800s. Serviced the Steam wheelers on the river across the street..

rolas, I'm always amazed at the intricacy of time pieces!
Your picture of the intricate pocket watch always reminds me of an illustration I heard years ago concerning creation. We know there are many theories concerning how this world and universe, as we know it, started. The preacher that gave this illustration said to believe that all this just happened without divine intervention would be similar to taking an intricate pocket watch apart, placing all the tiny screws, springs, gears, the case, the stem and the jewels in a box, tossing it in the air and thinking that it would all come to gather and function as a marvelous time piece.
It's amazing what a picture will bring to mind.

At a distance you would really wonder with a silhouette like that.

Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
I am attaching a photo of the Bride's Christmas Cactus which is just starting to bloom. It was her Mom's plant and this is the 1st time it has bloomed since her passing about 5 years ago so it is a little sentimental for both of us.
