Case collectors - cffw
Case collectors - cffw
There are many Case experts on the forum, could you tell what cffw means. I have seen a Case knife for sale and it has those 4 letters on the ad, and how much value if any would it add to the knife. Thanks in advance.
Re: Case collectors - cffw
Did you see this in an AAPK store? For the Case knife for $8500.00??
I have no idea what cffw means.
But, I think it means "$8500.00 is to much for a delrin handled knife".

I'm not a Case expert, but I have looked at thousands of Case knives of all types and patterns and I don't recall ever seeing "cffw" on any Case knife. Is the "cffw" only in the ad or does it also appear on the actual Case knife or the factory ID label on the box?

It's in the ad.QTCut5 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 5:46 amI'm not a Case expert, but I have looked at thousands of Case knives of all types and patterns and I don't recall ever seeing "cffw" on any Case knife. Re: Case collectors - cffw
I'm guessing it's an abbreviation (like "MIB" for Mint In Box) that is known only to the seller. So, in order to keep OCD Monkey from staying up all night trying to figure it out, I sent the seller an email asking him what "cffw" stands for.

Re: Case collectors - cffw
I did a search on ebay for Case cffw and the first thing that came up is "Crossfit CFFW Double Layer Compression Sport Fitness Bra ". Quite a pleasing picture in the auction, but nothing to do with a Case knife.

Put simply, the seller seems to have quite the illustrious history here. This doesn't surprise me.

I see the price has been lowered.
Still seems high to me, but then again I'm no expert.

I asked the seller what "cffw" stood for and here's his reply:
"that means absolutely nothing i just hit some buttons by mistake at the end thanks for asking thats quite embarrassing i had no clue what you meant until i looked at the add"
Mystery solved!
