Good shots, BH!

Here are a couple I took this evening. This lake is about a mile from my house, I had taken the dog over for a swim.

The only thing that changes is that in the cooler weather, the bikinis are gone. The good news is that they will return on the next warm day, and every year they get smaller and smaller... ::woot::

Beautiful pictures all!!

Here's a nice bull elk my buddy's father in law shot recently near Gunnison, Colorado.. looks like a 7x7 ::shrug:: (I have trouble with pictures on my phone without my glasses, I just recently started wearing cheaters and that was hard to admit that I needed them! Rubbing my eyes didn't work anymore! 😁) from the picture...

I found this morning's sunrise to be quietly spectacular;better than a French Impressionist painting. Kindly click on the photos to enlarge them and get a better experience.

Great sunrise, Garry, and I don't think Monet would disagree with your words. Very nice pictures.

Great pictures Garry. Like Papa Bones said reminds me of one of the many versions of an old rhyme.

Red sky at morning, sailors' take warning.

Smitty and David, I had the same thought. We are supposed to get some rain today. The sky quickly became overcast after that glorious sunrise.

Our Old Kentucky Home. Built in the late 1800s. At one point my sister wanted to name it the "Gone With The Wind House." But I suggested that name might be tempting fate considering the strong winds we endure with some frequency.

Very cool QS. That is a treasure. I'm sure there is a tax of maintenance on one that old. Well cared for. ::nod:: ::nod::

A friend of mine sent me this, it is an advertisement from the 1960's of the Davey Crockett radio serial we had. I thought all the American members may find this amusing and reminiscent of simpler times. We also had the Davey Crockett TV series later as well as Daniel Boone, both of which i just loved. Would go out into the backyard after watching them and pretend to be them. A much simpler era.
