David, you and I were admiring the same sunsets last week, just a few miles apart. This was in Parker County.

It sure looks like it! Didn't know you were so close by. That makes 4 AAPK members that I know of here in the North Texas DFW area.
Give me a shout sometime.

They certainly appear to be Model "A" swing arms. At least they look like the ones on my 1929 Model "A". However, they could be from a Model "T", a Model "A" or a Model "AA" as the arms for all three appear identical.

We know that they are NOT Model B or Model BB, because the swing arms for the "B" and "BB" were curves.
Yep, windshield swing arms, 1928-31 Model A Ford. Would fit my 1930 Model A.

Know anyone looking for a set of these? The chrome is worn, but might be better than having a repro set.

I assume you guys are starting on wheat now.We have had to suffer thru China tariffs etc.for a couple of years. Prices are picking up on corn and soybeans here in the states.Farmers are hoping Biden doesn't dick things up.Hope you have a bumper crop and a safe harvest.

Rodger, heard on the radio this morning things may be getting sorted with China, i really hope so. Our cropping is about to start, but there has been some major government stuff up's with a new rail project that won't help. I just fear for you people over there with covid, they have to get on top of it, the numbers are frightening, and i feel sick every time i hear them. On a brighter note, and this is for Ken also, going to post a photo of a bumper Wheaten Hay crop, most of this goes into stock feed, especially for horses. Hope you have a good week, and stay safe in these challenging times. ::tu:: ::handshake::

I guess I'm totally ignorant about how tariffs work. I would think that if China put a tariff on something, it would raise the price for the "thing" to their own people. I know that when tariffs are placed on things coming into the US, prices go up.

We are having trade issues with some products that we sell to China at the moment, it is political. This is is a fun thread,i do not want to politicize it. ::tu:: You have a good week my friend. :D ::handshake::

China announcements of tariffs is a polite way of saying they aren't buying nothing at any price.

Here's what "Fall Colors" look like in my area...

This weekend we had some rough weather blow through, 30 MPH winds and very rough seas, but no rain. Monday morning arrived clear and chilly.

This picture is looking Southwest toward the harbor jetties. In the distance you can see two of the Channel Islands, unfortunately it is still hazy at the horizon. On the right is Santa Cruz Island (I think) which is about 15 miles offshore. On the left is Anacapa Island (I think) which is actually a little closer at about 12 miles. Santa Cruz is considerably bigger than Anacapa.

Islands.jpg

This is looking Northwest toward the center of town. The tallest building just to the right of center is the old Crowne Plaza hotel. Closer and on the left of the jetty you can see a couple of surfers braving the 60 deg water. That's a really popular surf spot, and you will see surfers there nearly every day. The surf isn't large, but it is very dependable.

North.jpg

During the Summer weekends, this beach is packed with people. I like this time of year better!!

TFL, looking at a beach never gets old, even though the colors don't vary much.

Good shots, BH!

Here are a couple I took this evening. This lake is about a mile from my house, I had taken the dog over for a swim.
