Case round bolster stockmen

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Case round bolster stockmen

Post by msteele6 »

I've looked through my Case knives and found these various sizes of round bolster stockmen, from top to bottom: '47 ('047), '18, '87, '66, '27 patterns. The 6366 is by far the least common, it came in at least two forms one had the pen blade and one the spey, anybody know of any other round bolster patterns (Tested era and later)?

If you count the sowbelly as a stockman, then add the 39.

Here is a 06244 and a Tiny Muskrat. Though not technically a stockman because there are only two blades they are on a Stockman frame.

I don't have a '39 I've seen them in Sargent's. Beautiful old knives.
