Keep Your Hands Sharp

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Keep Your Hands Sharp

Saw recently that Case won an award for their “Keep Your Hands Sharp“ advertising campaign. This well done video which can be found on YouTube is about more than just Case knives though. ::tu::

Thanks for sharing Ken.
After the video, a tour of the Case manufacturing process followed. Interesting.

Trying to post a video on case knives, never done this before so do not know if it worked. I doubt it somehow.

Sorry cudgee, it didn’t post. I don’t think you can post a video that isn’t YouTube. For whatever reasons, the site software doesn’t support other videos.

I also love the message. We need more schools teaching trades, more shop classes (when my dad was teaching it was called Industrial Arts). Living in a rural area, the local high school still teaches Ag Science and along with it Ag Shop classes.

The advertising campaign has been running for a couple of years but I just recently saw that they had won an advertising award. I think maybe I read that in a recent edition of Knife Magazine.
