Sorry to hear he passed but knew he was in Ill health for some time. I always enjoyed talking to him at the shows and will always remember him flagging me and others down with his line “What do you collect?” A large loss to the knife community. He had some great knives.

Yes was quite the Guy I remember he would set up at the shows and buy every Cheetah at the show and the hobby would start buying them up then he would dump his for a profit . Maybe I shouldn't tell that on him now . But quite the showmanolderdogs1 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 1:02 am Sorry to hear he passed but knew he was in Ill health for some time. Re: Robert F (Bob ) Wurzelbacher Obituary
Just hearing of Bob's passing.
My favorite story that Bob told me at one of the shows was that he had wanted a collection of Case knives that a judge in Texas owned. He kept bugging the Texan about buying his collection. Finally the judge and Bob agreed on a price. Bob and a friend of his drove from Cincinnati to Texas to buy everything that the man had. Driving home they found a ma and pa motel that he could back his car right up to the door and front window. One would sleep for an hour then switch out so the other could stand guard at the window with his gun watching his newly acquired collection!
RIP Bob.
