W R case and sons pearl whittler 3”

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

W R case and sons pearl whittler 3”

Post by 41yrcollk »

Rare little pearl whittler. WR case and son. On match striker master and WR case and sons on pen. File blade is marked Vom Cleff and Cs. Germany on one side and Lion Cutlery in other. All looks like came from factory. Pearl cut outs for pulls match exactly. Any information from you deep collectors appreciated. I bought this 30 years ago at yard sale for $1 but also with in 20 miles of Camillus factory. 1915’s maybe?

::hmm:: Interesting little knife, I can't imagine someone would mess around with old pearl due to it being so fragile. Nice "fire" in the pearl too. ::nod::
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

You're going to look awfully silly with that knife sticking out of your @#$. -Clint Eastwood, High Plains Drifter
