The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. Just a few Pattern 85 Docs I have. The 3185 on the bottom, I thought was delrin when I first got it. But could it be celluloid. I keep it in a different location from my other knives. But it seems the scales are slowly warping and seems to have shrunk. I got this back around 1998, so I've had it a while.
