Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
The last month I have been painting and doing drywall work at a few homes. I have accumulated a few large paint stirrers. I did not have much to do today since it has been raining all day so I took the stirrers and made a stand to hold some of my stockman knives. Not pretty but it works.

Clever Nev, but I had to adjust my perspective. At first I thought I was seeing a staircase filled with the world's largest knives.

Thank you all for the comments. I saw something like this on SMKW web site. Then last week I built a set of steps off my back deck so I laid it out like steps and it worked!! Just something to stay busy.

The most impressive thing about it, is that it only required a little less than 1/2 bottle of Sagamore Rye

Assassin bugs kill eat other insects during all phases. Here’s a couple of pictures of older assassin bugs. You may recognize some of them.

I didn't get a new knife in the mail, but UPS did bring me a new desk chair. It adjusts in so many different ways I may need to get certified on how to operate it.

Wow - I've seen less sophisticated seats in the cockpit of a fighter jet! Looks a bit like a racing seat.
I have also been thinking about getting a new office chair. My wife bought the one we have now, and unfortunately, she buys based on style, not comfort.

Years ago I worked for a while delivering desks and chairs and shop equipment. My advice was always to spend your money on the chair. It's the thing you will use the most.

I'm considering buying a new desk chair. This one is shedding it's "pleather".

Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
Unless you just need to sit in it first or spend a lot of money there are some good online sites to buy from.
I got this one from Overstock.com and I got it in 4 days. I had already sat in one like this several months ago.
There is even a model of this one with a foot rest. Amazon has a very good selection, but most will not be
delivered until mid to late May.

Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
When I first started working at my current job, the chair I had was causing my back fits.
Since I work in the business office, I mentioned it to our business manager and accounts payable person, and asked if I might be able to order a new chair. They mentioned a website I should check out (can't remember now). After looking at a few chairs, I went back to them and said I don't think there's a chair on that site that's under $600. They said order what I wanted. Oooooo-kay. I wasn't going to argue. Since then my back rarely gives me trouble.
Take Floyd's advice - spend your money on the chair.
By the way, cool chair David. Hope you find it comfortable!
Take care and God bless,
Steve

Yup, cannot disagree on that. Don't waist your money on cheap, spend a "little" more, and get a really good chair from the get go. Your body will thank you afterward (from experience most days). But them again, there are great chairs out there for not too much moola. Anywhere between $250-$500 will get you into something nice, Lay-z-boy make some dandy ones in that price range.
Just one warning, if you get too comfy a chair, no work will get done. All you'll want to do, all day, is pet the cat, and sleep

Ive been using the UTV or tractor while under shelter in place protocol, so my truck hasn’t been driven in a month. Soooooo, the squirrels decided it was a good place to set up house.
Surprised it still runs, but the air conditioner doesn’t work. Even chewed a hole in the battery!

The estimate to repair the damage is $2000! Fortunately it’s covered by insurance. Unfortunately I still have to pay the deductible portion.
I’ll be lead poisoning a few squirrels though!
