A 1970 to 1972 Buck #110 with 440C & wood that my father had, but it's too big for me to carry in my pocket often, & a Buck #309 Companion with SS & Delrin which I got around 1974 & carried a good bit for several years:

I've been watching you tote that fine red Barlow recently. XX era? Never seen one with the pen blade on the pile side, very cool. I'm gonna have to take out the #1 for a spin.

For Old Friends Friday, the old EDC Voos and the new-look Maher & Grosh Texas Ranger, which I suspect will be a friend for a long long time.

That pic has my mouth watering, Kris. And the food is nice too.

As for me today, the 43 feels just right in hand and the 72 is the watch pocket do-it-all knife.

All your knives look so new and shiny, how do you keep them that way?

Thanks for the kind words, just pulling the shoulder off now.

Easy, most are high quality stainless steel, I use carbon in the kitchen, 52100 and W2, along with carbon damascus, see more in the kitchen knife thread. I usually simichrome lightly every once in a while. I really don't have much use for pocket knives, but I like carrying them. Most of my knives are used on meat, and all are hand sharpened on Shapton stones, no scratches.
