I am supposing all those hummers are Red-Throats which would make them all females. If so, I wonder where the males are.

That looks like a very healthy skunk.

Neat pics, BigH.
Skunk out during the day? Or was that closer to evening?
I thought they're primarily nocturnal, and if out during the day makes them to be suspect of being rabid. ::shrug::

QS the little roosters are around but the hens seem to outnumber them. Steve it was dusk, he comes around fairly often he's really a pretty one, another comes by some but doesn't have near as much white on him and his stripes are more yellowish and smaller, may have just been dirty. ::shrug:: They seem to be healthy and they like cracked corn along with the rabbits, squirrels and coons. ::handshake::

Found this big feller in the garage a few years ago. The bricks will have to do for perspective. He/she was a bigg'un.

Big Homer, it's nice to see that some folks still hang their washing out to dry.

No dryer sheet came duplicate sun-dried freshness. ::tu::

Nice critters!
I got a critter of a different sort at the PNE yesterday.
The Pacific National Exhibition is our version of a state fair, only huge.
Last year, I won the boy. This year, my niece got the girl and donated her to me.
He is Toonie because it cost two bucks to win him. We refer to our $2 coin as a toonie. Her name is Belladonna, as Donna was the one that won him.
I think they like each other!
They are actually quite large. He must be close to three feet.

Well, a tiger is definitely pretty, but it could make me much deader than that spider! ::paranoid::
Actually, if it bit me, I’d probably be saying something like -

We finally got some cooler weather so I got busy with the chain saw, Ford tractor and log chain and got my yard cleaned up from the storm we had a while back.

That ole tractor is over 50 years old and the Stil saw is over 40 still cutting the mustard
