Case XX Whittler

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Case XX Whittler

Post by joesskankshack »

Can anyone tell me about this Case Whittler? It looks like an aftermarket handle but I cannot Identify what the other material is aside from the copper. I also noticed it is a first run, but do not know if that adds any value if it has an aftermarket handle.

2003-2007 should have a bone handle. It has minimal value with the after market handles unless someone likes that sort of thing.

That's what I was thinking. Not sure why someone would do that with a 1st run model.

The other material looks like black lipped pearl.
