info on 40-64 red stag canoe and advice on a few more

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Well Railroad Joe, it appears that you have a sweet wife to buy you things you like. I'm not the expert on case knives. ::tu:: ::tu::

I would need better photos to say whether that is red stag or not. Also it appears that the back handle may be a replacement - hard to say but the pins do not look right.

If it was an original XX red stag 52131 in mint condition 750 or maybe more would be about right, but in used condition the value drops considerably.
