Love that knife Larry. Tell me about it. Now I gotta find another sleeveboard. Something tells me it may be difficult to find one like yours.

KenNice knife and one of my favorites. Used to have one like it, an 82079-1/2 that I carried some, mostly on Sundays. Long story, but the TSA got it.![]()
I’m at the airport now. I’m going to talk to TSA and see about getting your knife back. Stand by.

They said no. They liked it too much.
Sorry.
What a miserable way to lose a knife.

Let’s go way back when wild game trappers would slide their pelts over a board narrow on one end and wider on the other end to dry.

This is one of my favorite knives- a Keen Kutter sleeveboard whittler, 3 1/2" in ebony scales, also with a few friends.

Here is a sleeveboard I inherited from my Dad. Always loved this knife. I always admired it
when I was a child and it was in his tool box. Now it sits in a small plastic box on my bedroom dresser.
46 gm- just a good weight to carry in your pocket and securely know it is still there
3 1/2 inch.- good length to carry and cut most everything
It was my dad's
Pic may not show the more slender end, but it is there.
