Another Knife to ID

Post by sseamen »

This lock back knife had no box and there were no numbers on the blade

just the Hen and Rooster logo with Bertram Cutlery Germany

I don't think this is from Frost, but have no idea where it came from. Any ideas on Manufacturer and/or handle materiel would be greatly appreciated.

What a beautiful knife! That to me looks like a very nice semi custom. Etched bolster, turquoise handles, and filed blade and back springs. You only get these things in very high end production or custom knives. I don't know for sure, other collectors will clarify better than me.

This may help. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=59994&hilit=Bertram You can find more by using the “search”, located under quick links on the left side above this thread. Just search for Bertram. ::tu::
